一、設置宗旨: 任江履昇女士之家屬為回饋社會並鼓勵輔大清寒同學努力向學,將來服務社會人群,設置「任江履昇女士清寒奬學金」以永續嘉惠無數莘莘學子。
二、設置方式: 捐款新臺幣3,026萬4,697元(美金100萬元),成立永續基金專戶,受贈單位每年提撥專戶之4%保證利息收益作為獎學金,本金永不動用。
三、獎學金金額: 每學年新臺幣6萬元整。
四、獎學金名額: 每學年20名。
五、申請時間: 每學年第一學期開學註冊後一個半月內向學務處生活輔導組申請。
六、申請資格:
(一) 本校大學部(二至四年級)在學學生。(研究生限發生意外變故者)
(二) 家境清寒或家中突遭重大變故者。
(三) 上學年學業平均成績75分以上,操行成績80分以上者;有特殊原因,如意外變故,或參加特殊比賽訓練,以致無法達到標準者,得提供具體事證說明,提出申請。
(四) 有社團領導經驗,社會服務或工讀證明者為優先。
(五) 受領本獎學金者,得兼領其他獎學金,其總額30,000元為限。全年全部獎學NT$90,000為限。
七、 繳交資料:
(一) 申請書。
(二) 戶籍謄本。
(三) 國稅局年度綜合所得稅各類所得資料清單與家庭成員每人的財產歸屬資料清單(低收入戶或中低收入戶者免附)
(四) 低收入戶或中低收戶證明(無者免附)。
(五) 上學年成績單(含班級排名)。
(六) 家中突遭重大變故者請附說明書並經導師核章或其他相關證明文件。
(七) 有社團經驗、社會服務或工作經驗之相關證明或獎狀。
(八) 詳細自傳、含履歷表、大頭照。
(九) 導師或教師推薦信 1 封。
八、申請程序:
(一) 程序: 本獎學金由本校學務處生輔組負責申請、審查事宜,將初審結果之推薦學生及備取6名學生之申請資料送設獎人複核確定後,再行辦理發放事宜, 並將印領清冊函送捐贈人代表。
(二) 原則: 審查以家境貧困、品行端正為主要考量,並輔以學業成績做為次要考量。其審核程序宜由權責相關單位及導師從嚴辦理。
九、 每年會計年度結束時,學校得提供當年度的本獎學金之會計報表給捐贈人代表。
十、 本校必須於獎學金發布申請前,為此獎學金設立網頁。此網頁由學務處與捐贈人代表共同管理。
十一、 本獎學金申請詳細作法,每兩年校方及捐贈人代表得依助人需求提出檢討修訂。
十二、 本設置要點經就學獎補助基金委員會議通過即可,修正時亦同。

Fu Jen University Guidelines for Mrs. May Jen Scholarship for Low Income Students

I. In order to pay back to the society, and encourage FJU students from low income families to study diligently so as to serve society in the future, the family members of Mrs. May Jen (the donor hereafter) offered this scholarship.
II. The donor promises to donate NT$ 30,264,697 (US$ 1,000,000) into the university endowment fund. FJU will guaranteed a 4% pay out ratio each year to be used as the scholarships, and the principal fund will never be touched.
III. The amount of each scholarship: NT$ 60,000 per academic year.
IV. Number of the awardees: 20 awardees per academic year.
V. Eligible applicants must submit all application materials to FJU Student Life Division within the first 1.5 months of the first semester.
VI. Eligibility:
1. FJU undergraduate students (The second, third, and forth year students. Graduate students are eligible only when recently experiencing encountering an accident or a family disaster).
2. Students from low-income families or students who recently encountered an accident or a facility disaster.
3. Students who earned the average grade above 75 in their academic and the average grade above 80 in conduct performance from last academic year. When unable to meet the above standards, applicants may offer evidence to explain the reasons why they could not meet the standards, such as accidents or participation in contest training...
4. Students who have experience of being a leader in student bodies, and social service, or have part-time jobs are preferred.
5. Students who are granted with this scholarship can have other scholarships, but the amount is limited to NT$ 30,000, that is, the amount of all scholarships an awardee can have in a year is limited to NT$ 90,000.
VII. Application Materials:
1. Application form.
2. Household registration transcript.
3. List of annual individual income tax and individual property certificate of all family members. (Not required for students from low or middle-low income household.)
4. Low or middle-low income household certificate (not required).
5. Transcript of last academic year (with a class rank).
6. Applicants who recently encountered an accident or a family disaster please add a report authenticated by the student's advisor stamp or other related proof documents..
7. Related proof documents of student societies leadership or working experience and social services.
8. A detailed autobiography, a personal picture.
9. A recommendation letter.
VIII. FJU Student Life Division is in charge of the process of application and examination for the scholarship, and sends the application materials of the recommended applicants and 6 applicants on the waiting list to the donor. After the approval of the donor, FJU Student Life Division grants the scholarship to the awardees, and sends the scholarship receiving list to the donor representative. The scholarship aims to help students of good character who come from low income families, so the main consideration of the examination is the condition of distressed financial situation and righteous behavior, and the grades are minor. The conditions of receiving this scholarship are not straight, and the donor expects advisor and university Student Life Division evaluate students qualifications in a serious and strictly manner.
IX. At the end of each fiscal year, FJU should offer the accounting statement of the scholarship to the donor representative.
X. FJU must set a website for the scholarship before the announcement of application. The website is co-managed by FJU Office of Student Affairs and the donor representative.
XI. The guidelines can be amended by FJU and the donor every two years.
XII. The guidelines come into effect after being resolved in the Meeting of Student Subsidy and Scholarship Funding Committee  and approved by the University’s President. Amendments to the guidelines should follow the same procedure.
